The new DuckTales animated series had a lot to live up to. It had a legacy that included the Uncle Scrooge comics, the old DuckTales animated show and film, and of course, the video game that came out of it. And yet, it still managed to exceed all expectations. If you haven’t watched the new DuckTales series and you were a fan of the original, you’re doing yourselves a massive disservice. Seriously, get on that s**t right now on Disney+.

More than anything, it’s made me hungry for more. Not just more from the TV show (which is hitting in just a few days), but more everything. Give me a DuckTales movie. Give me another DuckTales game. Oh, wait…there’s a new DuckTales game actually on the way, you say? The update came courtesy of dev and publisher FDG Entertainment. They have put out such games as Oceanhorn and Blossom Tales.

I have to say, those images are clean-looking. They very much capture the aesthetic of the new series. It’s very clear that, if this is fake, that a lot of care went into the images. Most of the images look like they have the player controlling Donald, but the last one seems to show that Huey, Dewey, and Louie controls are a possibility…assuming it’s real.

Of course, if you look at the date, you’ll realize it’s April Fools’ Day, so it’s impossible to take virtually anything out there seriously. As much as I want this to be true, I wouldn’t hold my breath. At the very least, you can take solace in the fact that DuckTales Season 3 starts this Saturday.
