Is this newly added cast member hinting that he is playing Firefly in The Batman? Check out what actor Elliot Warren had to say on social media.
We have known for some time that Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie The Batman would feature multiple villains. We already know who is playing several of those roles such as Catwoman, Penguin, and Riddler. However, Firefly is another character who was rumored to be involved, but so far we have heard nothing about the villain.
Elliot Warren (actor) has confirmed on social media that he has been cast in The Batman. He left a little fire emoji on his social media post, check it out below. Though, the fire emoji has mysteriously vanished?

It’s hardly confirmation that Warren is playing Firefly, but it certainly appears to be a hint. I am guessing that Firefly is not a major part of the movie. I’ll also guess he might not even remove his mask in the movie. I guess I’m saying that casting this character was probably not Matt Reeves’ priority.
Warren may well come in, shoot his scenes and leave the project fairly quickly. That’s if he is playing Firefly and not armed guard number 4? Firefly is not a villain I would think will ever be the main antagonist of a Batman movie. A cameo role such as this would, however, be perfect.

I do like the idea of Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight living in a version of Gotham already pre-populated with a rogue’s gallery. Like the Arkham games before it, that kinda makes the Universe feel more alive and lived in. Batman remains my favorite superhero, so whatever happens, I will likely be checking out The Batman. It’ll be interesting to see if the movie and live up to the hype beginning to build for it.
