May the power protect you this August 28th!
Since 1993 the Power Rangers franchise has brought joy to millions of people. Now we have a date to yell out “It’s Morphin Time” and not fear ridicule… Okay, someone will make fun of you for doing that in public.
I am a huge fan of this property, especially the current comic book series from Kyle Higgins. I grew up in the 90s, being born in the mid-80s, and was able to appreciate the original adaptation of the Super Sentai series. I can remember seeing the Mighty Morphin Power Ranger: The Movie five times in theaters, annoying both my parents and grandparents. I am also a huge supporter of the recent Power Rangers movie from director Dean Israelite. If you haven’t given that movie a chance you’re wrong. The aesthetics of the Rangers and Zords are cringy, but the character development and background story are phenomenal.
