Jack Black Down To Play The Penguin In A Batman Film

With no one really knowing what to expect with DC movies, and even more uncertainty as to what the next Batman movie will look like, many names are being thrown into the ring regarding possible roles.  While the main focus has been who will replace Ben Affleck in the iconic role, other individuals have thrown their hats into the ring for the role of some of Batman’s amazing rogues gallery.

One such individual is Jack Black.  The actor recently took part in an interview with ET Canada for his recent movie The House with a Clock in the Walls, and the conversation turned towards his willingness to don the iconic umbrella as The Penguin. You can check out the video below.

What would you think of Jack Black playing the role of The Penguin?  Personally, I have nothing against the actor, but I constantly see him in a typecast role and have a hard time seeing him in the role.  It kind of makes me think of Jim Carrey playing The Riddler in Batman Forever. I have personally enjoyed Robin Lord Taylor’s interpretation on Gotham. Let us know your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
