We may look at Kevin Smith as the podcaster who cries when watching The Flash nowadays, but the dude is a total staple of ‘90s indie film. Starting with Clerks, he went on to create cult hits like Mallrats, indie darlings like Chasing Amy, and then movies that fell somewhere in between like Dogma. That latter film was a total rip on the Catholic religion and feature Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in the role of fallen angels.
When last we saw in the film, Ben Affleck’s head exploded and Matt Damon was stabbed to death. And yet…Damon’s Loki has returned in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, and in celebration of the film’s Blu-ray and digital release, a new interview with Damon has been posted.

In the above interview, we don’t get much on Damon’s limited role in the film, but he does reminisce about his career with Smith. It’s pretty cool to hear about how things used to be between Smith and his classic crew. Many of them have since gone in a different direction, and while Smith isn’t exactly a prestige filmmaker, his ties to this talent do lend him some more credibility.
