With hundreds of hours of footage, producers this year had the challenge of utilizing a limited on-site crew and access to in-depth interviews. Not to mention, MLB had the balancing act of the COVID-19 and Los Angeles Dodgers narrative.
LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with director Jed Tuminaro about the Official 2020 World Series Film. We discussed the approach towards this year’s documentary, interviews, and behind-the-scenes production.
Jed Tuminaro directed the Official World Series films since the Official 2015 World Series Film with the Kansas City Royals. For the past couple of decades, Tuminaro produced numerous television specials and documentaries for Major League Baseball and its networks.
The Blu-ray, DVD, and digital release are available tomorrow.
