Jennifer Newfield Production Manager For Disney’s Short Circuit On The Importance Of The Program [Exclusive Interview]

Short Circuit

In the past few days, we have given you an inside look at the second season of Disney Animation’s Short Circuit. The five directors of the short films gave us some behind-the-scenes information about how each of the films came to light. As well as how much they had learned from this experience. With as much talent as there is over at Disney Animation, one of these five maybe a future feature film director.

One animator who has already taken that next step is Zach Parrish. He was part of the first season of the Short Circuit program with his short film, Puddles. Earlier this year, he directed the beautiful short film Us Again that accompanied Raya and the Last Dragon. No doubt that the program helped him prepare to direct Us Again which included very complex choreography. Who will be the next one of these Short Circuit directors to continue to rise?
