Jigsaw Returns In New Poster For Saw X

Saw X

It’s crazy to think that we have now reached the tenth film in the Saw franchise! This fall will be the release of Lionsgate’s “Saw X”. It was in 2004 that James Wan first introduced us to the now infamous words, “I want to play a game” which was transmitted by the terrifying doll named Billy, often just referred to as Jigsaw who was also the mastermind behind the so-called games that were meant to teach sometimes deadly lessons, played by Tobin Bell.

This week, Lionsgate released a poster for “Saw X” that you can check out below

Do we even want to know what kind of crazy contraption this is on the poster for “Saw X”? One very interesting thing about this poster is some of the verbiage, that reads, “Witness the return of Jigsaw”. Being how key Bell was to the franchise, especially with his voice, it’s great to see that we are going to see him again in the Saw franchise.

Here is the synopsis for Lionsgate’s “Saw X” provided by the studios.

John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most chilling installment of the SAW franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of SAW I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, John returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through a series of ingenious and terrifying traps.

It’s interesting that we are going to see Jigsaw in a more anti-hero role, not sure how I feel about that yet.

“Saw X” is directed by Kevin Greutert. It’s written by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg and produced by Mark Burg and Oren Koules.

The horror/thriller “Saw X” will be in theaters on September 29.
