With plans for a second printing already in the works and a third printing likely, final sales for this debut issue are expected to surpass an incredible 100,000 copies.

The convention also witnessed the exciting launch of Jamie Lee Curtis’ debut graphic novel, “Mother Nature.” Scheduled to hit comic shops on August 8th, the eco-horror graphic novel is set in New Mexico and adapted from Jamie’s script for the forthcoming Comet Pictures/Blumhouse film. Curtis, along with co-writer Russell Goldman and artist Karl Stevens, presented the novel in a special panel and signing event that garnered significant attention.
