At a panel yesterday DC’s Jim Lee confirms no plans for SnyderVerse going forward. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that there are literally dozens of Snyder Fans out there, each with hundreds of online accounts that want more Zack Snyder movies for the DCEU. Thankfully, it seems like WB/D have stopped overreacting to Twitter posts and are pushing ahead with their own projects.
Clearly, I am not a Snyder Fan, so feel free to disagree with all this if you want. It’s not going to change the result, I think it’s time for the 12 of you to move on. Here is a video of the panel from OneTakeNews below, however before that I have a transcript from our man in LA.
“You know what’s amazing, is we spent two years in lockdown, and here we are back at a convention, celebrating the art-form, feeling good. I work on the projects that are in development, I think the SnyderCut was Zack’s vision realized and it was a really satisfying story told, but there are no plans for work on that material. I was happy to help contribute to the pitch for the other stuff, and it was fun to see that stuff get out there cause I did that years ago. Actually, I thought it had been erased, but they had kept it in storage.”

The Snyder Cut of Justice League was ultimately those fans reward for their consistent online campaign, and it worked, they got the four hour movie they were looking for. However there was never any realistic chance of Snyder carrying on with his vision I don’t think. At least not on film.
So that’s it folks. No more #RestoreTheSnyderVerse. Well, I don’t actually think this will stop the fans form posting but, it’ll fade away eventually. Let’s just see what DC has coming up next. Hopefully we can get some damn entertaining movies for once? Those have been in short supply from this studio lately.
Let us know what you think as Jim Lee confirms no plans for SnyderVerse? As always, leave any thoughts below, or over on Discord.
