This is something most fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe want to happen, John Krasinki being cast to play Mr. Fantastic. We know Marvel is hard at work on bringing the Fantastic Four into the MCU and Krasinski in the role has been a casting that fans have pushed for quite some time now.

Krasinki recently commented on the situation while speaking with Total Film, and he seems really excited at the prospect of taking on the role of Reed Richards, you can check out what he had to say below.

“You’re like, “Do you have any interest in not shattering people’s dreams”? [Laughs] I would love to be in the Marvel universe. I love those movies because they’re fun, but I also think they’re really well done. And certainly a lot of my friends are in those movies. I have no idea what [Marvel] are thinking. But if they are considering me for Mr. Fantastic, continue to considered me because I would love it.”

Well Marvel, what are you waiting for? If Feige and company have someone better in mind, I’d like to know who it is because, for me, Krasinkski would be both well-cast in this role as well as a great fit for the MCU overall. Krasinski has been considered by Marvel before, but he lost out on that role, Captain America/Steve Rogers, to Chris Evans.
