Jon Kasdan Teases His Idea For A Solo Sequel

Another Solo? Does that sentence even make sense? Both gramatically and business wise for Disney? Solo: A Star Wars Story writer Jon Kasdan (son of the man who wrote two of the greatest films of all time, Lawrence Kasdan) is making a push for a sequel to the 2018 Star Wars Anthology film.

Though recent word has implied spinoff films are not really in the future for the franchiseKasdan took to his Twitter account to thank the support that got behind his #MakeSolo2Happen hastag to get some movement behind another Solo adventure, that Kasdan said would be a war movie. You can check out what he had to say below.

Solo: A Star Wars Story was met with mixed reactions to say the least, however, considering the its extremely unusual production, I think it turned out pretty good. A predictable, but a fun adventure in a galaxy far, far away (I liked it better than The Last Jedi anyway). While I enjoyed the film, none of us here at LRM enjoyed it more than LRM Ranks it host Kyle Malone. If you also really liked Solo: A Star Wars Story be sure to email him and tell him how much you loved it. Check out Kyle’s love for Solo here and be sure to leave a comment.
