Joth Riggs Talks Character Depth In Night Of The Sicario [Exclusive Interview]

Night of the Sicario

In the last few years, we have seen stories about narcos and sicarios rise in popularity. You would think that we have seen it all right? Joth Riggs’ Night of the Sicario offers us a unique story that gives us a lot more than the 2-dimensional cookie cutout characters that we are sometimes used to seeing. In Night of the Sicario, we find depth not only in our protagonist but the antagonists as well. Our characters are in situations that they never necessarily intended to be. While some just want to survive, the other side is just there to do a job. This makes for an entertaining feature.

Here is the synopsis for Saban Films’ Night of the Sicario

Natasha Henstridge (Species) and Costas Mandylor (Saw franchise) star in this action-packed, suspenseful thriller that will shock you at every turn. While transporting the family of a key witness in a federal trial against the cartel, DEA agents are ambushed in a fatal shootout. Now the survivors, including the witness’ young daughter, must take refuge in a nearby home as the ruthless sicarios hunt them down. With danger at every corner and a violent hurricane wiping out any chance of outside help, they must play a deadly game of cat and mouse with the cartel to live through the night.
