Secret Invasion: Oscar-Winner Olivia Colman In Talks To Join

Olivia Colman Cast In Secret Invasion

Secret Invasion is beginning to expand its cast. THR reports that Olivia Colman is in talks to join the show. The two leads are already confirmed to be Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mandelsohn as Talos. One Night In Miami star Kingsley Ben-Adir has already been cast as the rumored villain.

Will Olivia Colman join Kingsley Ben-Adir, or is she the real villain? I only ask this because of a quote she gave in 2016:

I always wanted to play a Marvel baddie. I’m not sure I fit the mold, though. Like a powerful, extraordinary woman. Somebody with superpowers would be really fun.

Even if she doesn’t get her full wish, I’m sure she will have a hoot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Olivia Colman is famous for many projects but for the geeks out there, you probably recognize her from Hot Fuzz.  I’m sure I’ve seen her elsewhere, but I always think of Hot Fuzz. I can’t help it. Olivia Colman Hot Fuzz

Other, larger roles I’ve never seen are Broadchurch, The Favourite, and The Crown. She’s also doing a voice in the upcoming Animation The Mitchells Vs the Machines from producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
