Judy Greer just told Marvel to “SAY GOODBYE TO” the secrecy surrounding her role in their upcoming Ant-Man. In an interview with HeyUGuys, the actress spoke candidly about her experience working with Marvel Studios, and what we can expect from her role in Ant-Man, which stars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas.

On how exciting it is to be working with Marvel:

“It really is, and the energy is so electric on set. After Guardians, which I loved, and I’m friends with James Gunn and I’m so happy he did that movie and killed it, everyone is in such a good mood at work.”

On who she’ll actually be playing in Ant-Man:

“I’m Paul Rudd’s estranged ex-wife. We have a daughter together and our relationship is, well, estranged, but I feel like my character is still rooting for him to succeed. I guess that’s about as much as I can say. They gave us all these papers of things we’re allowed to say and things we’re not allowed to say, and I left them in Atlanta. Sorry! [Laughs]”

It’s notable that she mentions the film’s inclusion of Lang’s daughter, Cassie, since in the comics she does go on to become Stature- a member of the Young Avengers. Might Marvel be planting seeds for things we’ll be seeing in Phase 73 of their plan for world domination?!
