According to new Barside Buzz, Avengers: Secret Wars filming could be delayed again until February, 2027, so can it really make release date. It was not that long ago rumors, from the same source said filming was delayed until January, 2027. Not long after the delay was confirmed backed by other top leakers.

Therefore, if Daniel RPK is hearing it could be delayed again until February, we at least have to pay attention.

Might be Feb now 😭 https://t.co/QcNEZxTYHx

I guess the question is, can Marvel Studios really manage to complete filing and post-production on one of their biggest ever films in less than ten months? I already figured January was pushing it, never mind February. Now of course the Buzz is that Marvel intends to keep that December, 2027 release date. You can understand why when they have already announced their three movie slate for 2028, those being X-Men, Ghost Rider and Black Panther 3.

Yet, given the normal timescales set aside for Marvel films, this is going to be tight, never mind the fact this is the finale of the Multiverse Saga and probably has a massive cast.

Of course the other reason for Marvel and parent company Disney to not want a release delay is that Secret Wars is the only Marvel Studios film due for release in 2027. The dates are clearly also design to build anticipation between this December’s Doomsday and it’s direct sequel.

I would rather have a delay than have Secret Wars feel rushed, but not being on the ground we have no ide what the plan is.

What do you think of this rumor that another delay in filming to February, 2027 could be in line for Secret Wars? Thoughts below.
