While the original Jurassic Park film is known for its groundbreaking use of CGI, many practical effects were also used to bring the dinosaurs to life (the film still has the best CGI for its time, in my opinion). Now in the days where CGI is a huge part of almost every film, the sixth entry into the Jurassic Park franchise is showcasing some practical wizardry.
Colin Trevorrow, who is back to direct Jurassic World 3 (he also co-wrote the film) recently posted a video to his Twitter account showing one of the animatronic dinosaurs that will appear in the upcoming movie, check it out down below.

Perhaps Universal should take a page out of Disney’s playbook and create a Jurassic Park comprised of animatronic dinos within their theme parks. This should hold us all over until sometime in the future when we find some scientists, aware of their ability to bring back dinosaurs, become so preoccupied with whether or not they could, didn’t stop to think if they should, arrive and potentially doom us all.
