Jurassic World 3 is among the productions that have been shut down by the pandemic that has forced Hollywood to a grinding halt. The film will end the trilogy and put a cap on the Jurassic franchise as a whole.
Franchise veteran Sam Neill, who for better or worse is known to many as the ‘Jurassic Park guy’, is returning for the upcoming film. The actor recently spoke with Play.acast.com and talked about when filming might resume, and it’s not the greatest news. Check it out below.
“I was waiting in London for my stuff to start and then it became apparent it was going to close down in a day or two. We’ll start as soon as we can. We’re supposed to be in London but it’s a complete mess at the moment… I’d like to think that maybe we could start or restart in this part of the world and then finish off in the studio. We’re using the Bond stage to build these enormous sets in London. They’d like to use those, ideally, but if nothing’s happening there, I don’t know when we can get started.”

Well, this is disappointing, but not at all unexpected. One again, we’re all playing the waiting game, and no one seems to be sure when it will end. As most of you may know the upcoming Jurassic World 3 will see some of the dinosaurs released into our world. Director Colin Trevorrow has stated that human encounters with dinos are very possible but will be rare. This will certainly up the tension in the film.
