Jurassic World: Dominion is on the way. The third installment into the trilogy and the sixth in the Jurassic franchise overall. As some of you may know, actor Sam Neill is reprising his iconic role as Dr. Alan Grant in the upcoming film. Laura Dern will return to once again play Dr. Ellie Sattler, as well as Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm in his second Jurassic World movie.
Another fan favorite is set to return, an ‘old friend’ of Sam Neill’s, his trusty hat. Yes, the actor took to his Twitter account to make a post showing the two had been reunited. And if you’re wondering, it’s the same hat from the Jurassic Park films. The hat was likely sitting in storage this whole time just waiting for the day it would once again see Dr. Grant. You can check out the post below.

Many famous characters’ hats come to mind, the Sorting Hat from the Harry Potter franchise, the bowler hat from A Clockwork Orange, as well as the Mad Hatter’s hat. However, for me, I think Dr. Grant’s hat belongs on that same list, where exactly? That’s not important just know that it’s on the list, a list that’s of course topped by another Doctor, Dr. Jones, and his legendary fedora.
The trio from the first dino trilogy will have more than just small roles (take notes, Disney), and fans should expect them to have substantial roles in Jurassic World: Dominion.
