Michael Keaton’s Batman spotted suited up as the Dark Knight once again in latest Batgirl BTS Images. The images in the link below show what appears to be Keaton (could be stunt stand-in) in his classic 1989 Batman costume. Filming has been taking place in my closest City, Glasgow. As such we are seeing Keaton in Batgirl even though he first appears in The Flash. We have no permission to post the images, which you need even for Twitter embeds these days. Therefore feel free to heck them out Here on social media.

As you can see the lighting is too dark and the image taken from too far away to tell for certain whether that it’s Keaton under there. However given the suit looks almost identical to Keaton’s original suit, it’s fair to assume this is the look Keaton will have in The Flash also.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Keaton’s suit back in 1989, but I was 11 and the only suit we knew before that was Adam West. It’s fair to say that Keaton suit then inspired all the further design’s that came afterwards. However at the same time some of those newer Batsuits were evolved for good reasons. My personal favorite of all Batman suits on film so far is the new suit from The Dark Knight, and subsequently The Dark Knight Rises. Then again, will Keaton be able to pull off big fight sequences anyway these days?

I guess for the moment I am simply not sold. I’m far, far more interested in seeing Robert Pattinson’s version of Batman in The Batman. That being said I hope The Flash is a great movie. If it is, the no reason why Batgirl might not be great also. I’m interested for sure, and that’s ultimately a good thing. Sadly it hasn’t always been this way with DCEU movies for this fan. However Batman remains my top, numero uno, favorite superhero, so there’s that too.
