Kevin Conroy Reads Iconic Monty Python Scene As Batman

Longtime voice of the animated Batman, Kevin Conroy, gave nerds everywhere a treat. The voice actor recently appeared on The Nerdist Podcast, and played along in a skit depicting a scene from the classic film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. You can check out the video above.

Conroy takes on the role of one of the Knights who say Ni, and the bit does not disappoint. Conroy, along with Batman Beyond producer Alan Burnett and writer for Batman: The Animated Series, Paul Dini, play out the famous scene in hilarious fashion.

This is great, combining two classic elements of nerddom. For many fans, Conroy is thought of as the definitive Batman, having voiced the character for decades in various animated shows and video games, the actor has been a mainstay for DC.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, is also a film near and dear to the hearts of many nerds. A certified cult classic the film is among the most quotable in cinema’s history. British bands Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Genesis all provided funds for the film’s production, which I just think is a cool bit of trivia.
