Kevin Feige Gives A Hopeful Message By Sharing Classic Avengers Crowd Reaction

Endgame's Mjolnir moment

Marvel Boss Kevin Feige gives a hopeful message to fans of better times to come by recalling one of the biggest social events in entertainment history. Read on for more details.

In the current climate, we are all having to stay at home, and stay out of any social situations. It sucks, but it’s necessary, but at times like this we also have to remember the kind of social situations we are missing out on. To that end, some fans have been sharing a classic Avengers: Endgame clip on social media and Reddit. The clip is of the moment when Cap lifts and uses Mjolnir for the first time to fight Thanos. And the clip also features the crowd reactions to this moment from the opening day of Avengers: Endgame.

The moment captured is one that will live on for many generations. When Cap lifts Mjolnir it was the pinnacle of paying off a tease for fans. Since Avengers: Age of Ultron fans had wondered if Cap could, and when he would wield Thor’s hammer. What was even more impressive to me, as a fan, was how even this defining moment was not enough to allow Cap to defeat Thanos. It was Cap’s failure which then sets up the next big fan reaction moment, as those portals open up and the true battle really begins.

It is these special moments that make the theatrical experience so much better with other people. The energy in theaters was palpable during Endgame‘s finale and this part more than any other. What better way for a social media post about Avengers to get traction, than by having Kevin Feige retweet it with his own thoughts on the moment? So check it out as Kevin Feige gives a hopeful message to all Marvel fans. Oh and just enjoy this moment again, because I can’t help but relive that emotional moment every time I watch this with the crowd reactions.

Kevin Feige gives hopeful message

I’m not too reserved to say that I can still get tears in my eyes watching this scene at home, never mind with the crowd reactions included. My next guaranteed theater visit (if I’m still around, yikes) will be Black Widow in November. The Marvel Studios movies just have a way of capturing the magic that theater can provide. Though, I doubt Black Widow will have a moment to match this one in Endgame. Endgame was the finale of a decade of movies, with Black Widow being the start of a new decade. What moments will Marvel give us to rival Endgame in the next decade, who knows? Whatever happens from here, we will always have the Infinity Saga to look back at fondly.

What do you think of this moment, does it still give you goosebumps? What do you think of Feige’s message to all fans? Leave your thoughts below in the usual spot.
