Kevin Feige Says Phase 4 Info Isn’t Far Off

Now that order has for the most part been restored in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans anxiously await word on where the universe is headed from here. With the Disney/Fox deal being finalized, the future is wide open for Marvel.

The mastermind behind Marvel, Kevin Feige recently spoke with ComicBook.com at a press event and was asked if the original Avengers would have a role in Phase 4 and beyond. As usual, no Marvel information will be revealed before its time, but you can check out what he had to say below.

“I would say its definitely a combination. Clearly, as I’ve said for the better part of a year or two, we’re waiting for Endgame and Far From Home to come out before we talk about what’s next officially. We’re almost there. Far From Home is almost out. But all will be revealed.”

Many believe using the events of Infinity War and Endgame to be the best way to introduce the X-Men, among other characters recently acquired by Marvel. And, while not knowing if Feige and company planned it this way, that does seem to be the best option to bring in the mutants.

Feige and his crew have built fans a wonderful and expansive Marvel universe, the gold standard of shared cinematic worlds. They’ve done us right up to this point, so we’re just going to have to sit back and be patient as the MCU evolves.

How would you bring in the new characters, and in what direction would you point the MCU? Let us know in the comments down below!
