Kevin Feige Says Some Unexpected Characters Will Show Up In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Teaser Trailer Official Released

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness not only has the coolest and yet most annoying title ever to write out, but it is also a very intriguing movie being set up. We know that Scarlet Witch aka Wanda will show up and we have hints that the story of WandaVision will tie in directly to the Doctor Strange sequel. There are also rumors that Strange himself may even show up in WandaVision at some point.

Now from Kevin Feige’s own lips, we have a new piece of intriguing information. The Marvel president was a guest speaker for the New York Film Academy and you can catch the full video on the source link below, but here is what he said regarding Doctor Strange 2 having unexpected characters.

“Sometimes you’re choosing title hero, choosing which main character or main team you want to bring to the screen and often times, it’s as you’re making and developing the movie asking ‘who will come into it?’ and ‘who will fit into it? The next Doctor Strange film, for instance, features some new MCU characters which will be making their debut in that movie you won’t expect or won’t guess who it is but we found a cool way to make it work because we want to make a particular type of movie there and there was a character who we always wanted to do something with who will fit really well there.”

Interesting, especially when you consider the rumor recently that WandaVision could possibly introduce Latveria and Doomstadt, the birthplace of one Victor Von Doom. Is it possible that Doom could show up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? It’s possible, but this is merely me putting some clues together and taking a guess. Realistically this could be any number of ‘unexpected’ characters, from Blade to the Fantastic Four, though I find the latter highly unlikely.

Maybe we will have more hints once we see WandaVision, though that’s not due to hit till Spring 2021. For now, it remains a mystery who Feige is talking about, but with so many characters in the Marvel stable now available to Feige, it could literally be anyone.
