With Smith shooting down the rumors for both Marvel and Star Wars (you can read about that in the related section), all eyes shift to DC. Smith has a presence with DC on the small screen, having directed a few episodes of CW’s The Flash and Supergirl. Many think that Smith has the knowledge and directorial skills to bring a worthy DC adaptation to the screen. Now while Smith’s project could be something other than superheroes, but with DC setting out on what seems like a new attitude and direction, Smith could definitely be up for a job with the studio. Whatever the project is, if all goes well, it sounds like Smith may get his turn at a big budget film.
