According to the latest Barside Buzz Lucasfilm has a KOTOR TV series in development and Skeleton Crew characters will be in Filoni’s MandoVerse movie. Both rumors comes from insider Daniel RPK on his Patreon service.
RPK claims he’s heard that Lucasfilm are developing a new series set in the KOTOR timeline. A period more associated with the video game of the same name. The Old Republic period is set many thousands of years prior to even The Acolyte, when the Jedi vs Sith War was taking place, before the Rule of Two.
Fans have wanted this for a long time to be honest. Yet, even the game remake fell by the wayside. Therefore, I’ll wait and see if this one actually gets off the ground. As always with Lucasfilm, don’t count your chickens until the cameras start rolling.

As for the second part of this Barside Buzz, Daniel has heard that characters (not named) from Skeleton Crew are planned to be in Dave Filoni’s upcoming MandoVerse movie. To be honest this makes a lot of sense because we always knew the plan. That several different stories in that timeline were being told and would culminate in Filoni’s movie. The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew have all introduced stories in the same timeline. How they would all begin to connect is yet to be seen. Though one can imagine the overarching villain being Thrawn.
I guess we will have to wait and see, but this is one rumor and a movie I think we will see happen.
