Locke & Key Gets A Comic To Screen Featurette

Locke & Key has had a long path to the small screen. It’s gone through a few different networks, a couple of different pilots, and after switching to Netflix, we finally have a version on the way. It’s just a few weeks away, and while the series has an undoubtedly passionate fan base, it’s going to be a heck of a job to get mainstream audiences on board with some of the strangeness in store for them.

A new featurette attempts to bridge the gap between fan and potential viewer. It’s pretty short, but it does talk about on crucial aspect of the story they’ve adapted. Check it out below!

Of course, when I saw “crucial aspect” of the story, I’m talking about the Head Key, which opens up characters’ heads so others can see what’s going on in there. In the show, they’ve taken a less disturbing approach where a key allows them to enter their imaginations by some external means.

What do you think of this approach they’ve taken for the series? Do you think it works better or do you wish they found some way to do the whole “cuphead” thing? Let us know your thoughts down below!
