Last week, Disney confirmed that they had suspended production of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in Puerto Rico due to the earthquakes. At that time, it was unclear whether or not they would continue production any time soon, and if so, if it would be in Puerto Rico. While we don’t yet know the fate regarding the future possibility of Puerto Rico, we do have a production update.

According to one of our sources, production on the Disney+ series is starting up again, this time in Atlanta, Georgia. From what we have been able to gather, they have pushed up scenes they were originally supposed to shoot next month to now, making it seem as though they are just shuffling the schedule.

Now, what does this mean regarding the two weeks of shooting they were supposed to do in Puerto Rico? This part is just speculation, but I would imagine it’s possible for them to try and place those scenes to the tail end of the production, giving time for the earthquakes to blow over. Of course, it’s also possible for them to choose another location as they go forward with production, but we have no word as to whether or not that is the case.

Either way, for the time being, it looks like they’re not wasting any time with this one and are adapting to the circumstances, which is a good thing.
