Lydia Hearst has a particular affinity towards the roles she plays in her acting career.

With many past projects, she starred in various horror and thriller films from a horror film like Cabin Fever 3: Patient Zero to supernatural films with Between Worlds and The Haunting of Sharon Tate.

In Lifetime Channel’s Psycho Sister-In-Law, Hearst expands her acting chops into a vengeful deranged woman in this thriller. Not to mention, it is a leading role for the actress rather than a supporting role.

Here’s the synopsis of the film:

Haley and Nick Downes are a happy, successful young couple pregnant with their first baby, but when Nick’s father dies unexpectedly, his estranged sister Zara suddenly shows up to town with a diabolical plan in store to make the baby and their father’s fortune her own.

The film also stars Brandon Eaton, Andrea Bowen, and Diora Baird.

At the 2008 Michael Awards, she was recognized as “Supermodel of the Year,” and as “Best International Supermodel” at the Glamour Awards later that year. For the past few years, she has transitioned into acting, in which she was honored in 2015 as “Best Actress” for her role as Chanel in Stealing Chanel at the International Film Festival Manhattan. Also, she received the “Rising Star Tribute” at the Napa Valley Film Festival later that year.

She has numerous supporting roles in Gossip Girl, Two Jacks, Mistresses, Cabin Fever 3: Patient Zero, and #Horror. On television, she had a reoccurring guest role as Pandora in SyFy’s Z Nation. She starred alongside Nicholas Cage in Between Worlds, and with Hilary Duff in The Haunting of Sharon Tate.
