We have a new Mandalorian Season 3 rumor today courtesy of the folks over at Bespin Bulletin. According to sources they have heard that there is a good chance a Wookiee or Wookiee’s could show up for their debut in Mando. The outlet doesn’t have any solid detail, but they’ve seen some evidence and heard some little songs in their ears about Wookiee’s. The Twitter post below also links to an Instagram post with the full details.

Fan of course have already begun to speculate on which Wookiee’s these could be. As always, likely there will be some fans disappointed if the Wookiees in Mando S3 are not the ones they wished for? The one name I do see coming up pretty often is Black Krrsantan, who is a character I assume form the Doctor Aphra comics. I have never read those comics but I know Krrsantan is a Wookiee Bounty Hunter during the Galactic Civil War.
Now, that does not mean that is is that character showing up in Mando S3. This could really be as simple as some Wookiee’s seen at a bar for a scene. However, it could be more, it’s currently very vague details.

Secondly the outlet says they think The Mandalorian Season 3 will begin shooting soon. Now that I can say lines up with what we have heard also. I said on this week’s The Cantina that my understanding is that Mando is ready to go, we just don’t quite know when it kicks off. There was a rumor that April 5th would be the day, and we also shared that rumor here. However I think if Mando S3 had already begun, we’d know about it. Far as I have heard, though principal photography has wrapped on The Book of Boba Fett, there are still some things to do. One of which is clearing away the set.
What do you think of this latest Mandalorian Season 3 rumor? Are Wookiees being present significant, or just the window dressing of the Galaxy. As always, leave any thoughts below if you can.
