As a Latino, it is interesting to see see what roles currently our actors and actresses are offered in Hollywood. In the last few years, we have seen a rise in the romanticization of Latin drug traffickers and sicarios alike. The stories of criminals such as Pablo Escobar and El Chapo Guzman have turned these dangerous men into what I consider to be modern-day pirates. Who knows, maybe one day Disney will have a ride and a franchise based around the adventures of these men as well.
With that in mind, we have Saban Films’ Night of the Sicario. In this action-thriller, we find that a key witness and her daughter need to take refuge in a convalescent home after they and their DEA escort are ambushed by the sicario and his men. What will happen when these dangerous men are faced with a group of elderly and their caretaker? Find out!
Here is the synopsis for Night of the Sicario
