It was only yesterday I updated on all the Fantastic Four Barside Buzz and it’s changed already. Now we have rumors that Margot Robbie has been offered Sue Storm whilst Paul Mescal is out, alongside rumors of Terrax as Galactus Herald. We shall start with the big news that broke late Monday. Daniel RPK made a claim on his Patreon service that he’s heard Margot Robbie (The Suicide Squad, Barbie) has been offered the part of Sue Storm/Richards in the Fantastic Four.
This rumor was then fairly quickly backed by another insider MTTSH, check it out.

Some other ‘insiders’ came out to join the bandwagon, but not necessarily anyone I trust. However it would be accurate to say this story is gathering steam. It may well be that Robbie, not Comer, is now the favorite to take the Sue role. Either would be great, so no complaints here.
As for Paul Mescal, yesterday we covered that the rumor was he had been offered Johnny Storm and was the current top contender. However some insiders have come out to say they’ve heard Mescal passed, either due to scheduling conflicts or otherwise and that leaves us in the dark about Johnny Storm.

One insider I trust is BSL let’s see what he had to say following a post from Justin Kroll at Variety who revealed Mescal was cast in a new movie.
Nope, he passed due to scheduling conflicts and I guess this was the scheduling conflict.

Lastly, let’s look at the Terrax rumor. So far we have heard that Galactus will be in Fantastic Four and the favorite to play him is Antonio Banderas. However, we have also heard through the grapevine that Silver Surfer will not make his debut till later. Now MTTSH claims the Herald (or one of) of Galactus in Fantastic Four will be Terrax, check it out.

So where does that leave us?
For now, Reed Richards seems certain to be Adam Driver. Sue has been offered to Robbie says the Buzz but I would not rule out Comer, yet. Mescal has passed or didn’t get the offer for Johnny and is now making another movie. Currently there are no rumored names for Johnny, nor Ben Grimm. Galactus should show up, likely be played by Banderas, and his Herald will be that Darkseid looking copy job from Marvel above.
Clear as a bell then? I feel more confused now than I did when I covered this yesterday, Let’s hope today/tomorrow does not bring a string of new rumors and buzz around Fantastic Four. (Unless it’s a trade.)
