Mark Hamill Teases Luke Skywalker’s Return

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is perhaps the most divisive movie in the franchise. The film killed off one of the most beloved characters, not only in Star Wars but in cinema itself. One of the bigger questions that fans were left with after the film was will Luke return in Episode 9? While no official word has come down from the higher-ups, the man who plays the Master Jedi, Mark Hamill dropped a tease to fans via his Twitter account. You can check out the post below.

Is Hamill hinting at a return in Episode 9? It sure seems that way. It is likely he will make an appearance as one of the blue glowing Force ghosts, this has been expected since the end of The Last Jedi. Typically, Force ghosts don’t hang around very long, they teach a needed lesson, or convey an important bit of information. and then fade away, but could Episode 9 break new ground by having a Force ghost as a main part of the film? With the film not due out until next December, and as secretive as Disney has been with these films, it’s likely we won’t know Hamill’s official involvement for some time. Hamill has given us a hopeful hint that we will all see Luke Skywalker again.

Do you think Luke Skywalker will return as a Force ghost in Episode 9? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
