Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell to Team Up Again in ‘Daddy’s Home’

“The Other Guys” funny duo Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell plans to reunite in Paramount’s “Daddy’s Home.”

According to Deadline, Paramount is trying to make a quick push for this project with possibly “Horrible Bosses 2” director Sean Anders and John Morris at the helm. The production is planned to begin this fall.

It was previously reported last year Ferrell was going to star in this movie with Vince Vaughn and Etan Cohen directing. Somehow it didn’t happen.

The story was originally written by Brian Burns, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Cohen. It’s about a radio executive (played by Ferrell) who is striving to be the best stepdad to two children. As the real father (played by Wahlberg) arrives into their lives, conflicts ensue as both of them compete for the children’s affections.
