Marvel’s Next Saga Teased By Kevin Feige

Marvel boss Kevin Feige coy on X-Men questions, confirms no Star Wars movie and denied discussing returning fallen Avengers recently.

In a recent interview with Total Film Magazine, Marvel’s next saga teased by Kevin Feige, Marvel president. The Infinity Saga was of course littered with references to Infinity Stones and teases of Thanos. However in Phase 4 of the MCU, it feels like multiple plot lines are set up, rather than just one. So far that has begun to annoy some fans. Those who preferred the clearer road map of the impending Infinity Gauntlet story from the comics.

Well, Feige says that towards the end of Phase 4, we will start to see the big picture forming.

“As we’re nearing the end of Phase 4, I think people will start to see where this next saga is going.”

“I think there have been many clues already, that are at least apparent to me, of where this whole saga is going. But we’ll be a little more direct about that in the coming months, to set a plan, so audiences who want to see the bigger picture can see a tiny, tiny, tiny bit more of the roadmap.”

This could be defined multiple ways. Is Feige referring to the clues within the projects themselves that will start to lead somewhere. Or, does Feige mean Marvel will be announcing a whole new slate of shows and movies showing what’s being built towards? Either of these possibilities will excite fans I think. So far, I’d say the average MCU enjoyer has, aside from No Way Home, not loved Phase 4 as much as they did the previous phases.

Current best estimates from me are, a conclusion to the Multiverse arc with Kang as the ultimate threat. Or, that’s a red herring taking us more towards Secret Wars. However we also have that now revealed Thunderbolts project which has been teased in many shows and movies already. Although, what about the just beginning supernatural side of the MCU?

I guess I’m saying I think we are building towards several ‘events’ and not just one. But of all those mentioned above, Secret Wars would be the daddy.

What do you think of his comments as Marvel’s next saga teased by Kevin Feige? As always, thoughts below, or over on Discord.
