Only if it was award season, The Mustang would certainly be considered for a nomination.

The Mustang is expanding nationwide into more screens this weekend. The film is brilliantly supported by powerful performances with the beautiful story about a man and a horse.

The film is about a violent convict, who was given a chance to join a rehabilitation therapy program that involves training wild mustangs captured for public auctions.

The film stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Jason Mitchell, Bruce Dern, Gideon Adlon, Connie Britton and, Josh Stewart. The film is directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre.

LRM Online sat down exclusively with Matthias Schoenaerts and director Laure de Clarmont-Tonnerre about the story and preparations with the horses.

The Mustang is currently playing nationwide in theaters.
