A mid-week Marvel Rumor Roundup, today including Marvel’s symbiote plans for Spider-Man, Doctor Doom’s plan for the X-Men, plus more. Let’s start with Spider-Man and fans have been wondering since the Venom Verse ended, will the MCU Spider-Man ever have the symbiote story played out?

The basic comic book adaptation was done for Spider-Man 3. However, that was in my opinion a poor attempt at the Venom story. Well, now Daniel RPK is telling his Patreon subscribers that Marvel wants its own take on the symbiote for this new Spider-Man trilogy, which begins with Brand New Day, coming this Summer.

I do hope this is right, I think it’s open to be done better than SM3 was, where director Sam Raimi was forced to use Venom against his wishes.

Secondly today insider MTTSH has added some details to how Doctor Doom’s story begins in Avengers: Doomsday. Check it out,

Is Doom then playing the Fantastic Four to gather the Avengers and keep the X-Men busy  whilst he does something else? I guess we will find out and it’s not like we want the full film spoiled. Additionally, this is just a rumor and not a confirmed spoiler or anything so, pinch of salt. Who knows what could change before the final cut?

James Mack (a new leaker) started a rumor that Star Lord was in Vision Quest and Cryptic HD is saying now. I know which one I would trust most, the one with the better record.

Lastly, Daniel RPK also says he’s heard Marvel are working on a Ghost Rider project of some kind for the post-Secret Wars slate.
