A few months back, Marvel Studios announced that they would finally be adapting the beloved Moon Knight into his own Disney+ series. This came with both a cheer from some fans and a quiet boo for others. While many do want to see him realized for the screen, a Disney+ series will inherently be less mature than a Netflix counterpart. But that’s not to say they can’t get by with some solid writing.

And speaking of writing…it sounds like they’ve locked down at least one new writer in the form of Beau DeMayo. Known for his work on The Originals as well as the recent Netflix hit The Witcher, DeMayo confirmed via Twitter that he had signed on to help realize it for the small screen.

Sadly, there are no other details regarding the upcoming Disney+ Marvel Studios series, but it’s cool to see that they’re getting things underway. The writer also appears to be on fire, as he’s working on the upcoming Witcher anime series. Sufficed to say, he’s a relatively new talent we should keep our eyes on.
