Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

The comic book version of Moon Knight is an unconventional take on a superhero, Spector is a former CIA agent and Marine who suffers from multiple personalities. Upon being seemingly murdered during one of his mercenary missions, the character is brought to an Egyptian tomb in front of a statue of the Moon God Khonshu, who bestows Spector with mystical superpowers, raising him from the dead and creating the Moon Knight.
