Today’s latest Barside Buzz could be considered SPOILERS, so be warned? We have more Thunderbolts villain details rumored that follow on from the initial reports. Plus add a bit more background to what is happening in the movie.

Still with me, then you probably already know there were rumors a plenty that Sentry would be the main antagonist of Thunderbolts. Ergo, the team have to stop one of the most powerful characters that appears in the Marvel Comics. However Sentry has been hero, and villain, so what is happening with him in Thunderbolts?
Today we have some updates from a few of the usual suspects when it comes to Marvel leaks. First off, CWGST says that although Sentry is the physical villain, the real mastermind behind it all is Val, played by Julia Louise-Dreyfus. I’m sure this one won’t come as a shock to anyone who has been paying attention.

The same source also says The Void (villainous apocalyptic state of Sentry) will be a part of the character and the plot.

We then have KC Walsh of The GWW chiming I to say what they heard about the plot prior to the recent script rewrites. Ergo, it’s possible some changes have been made since Walsh received this information.

Given we know the rough team and now a rough idea of the plot, I think we can get a sense of where Thunderbolts is going. However I am interested to see exactly how Marvel handled Sentry in the MCU. Will he be a one-off unconscious villain for the movie. Or will the character get redemption chances in the future and be used again? Clearly I have no answers, but some of the leakers above may get something before release. Therefore as always keep an eye on the latest Barside Buzz if you are interested in the early information game.

Sentry is one of those character that could be great, or could fail miserably depending on which approach they take at Marvel. Let us hope it’s the latter because Thunderbolts could be a very fun movie. It is shaping up very nicely so far.
