Fans of Mortal Kombat are patiently awaiting the upcoming and long-overdue live-action reboot. To tide them over until then, the animated adventure, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge is now available to watch on digital. The film will also be released on Blu-ray and DVD on April 28.

The first klip shows Scorpion on the hunt for Sub-Zero.
Next, we have the Shaolin monk Liu Kang vs Kitana, Princess of Outworld.
And last but certainly not least, we have the special ops agent, Sonya Blade opening a large can of whoop-ass against an opponent twice her size.

Mortal Kombat is probably second in line behind Super Mario Bros. as far as deserving some big-screen redemption As I’ve said a time or two before, the Mortal Kombat films of the 1990s were just terrible, and the franchise deserves better.
Among many others the cast includes Joel McHale (Community) as Johnny Cage, Jordan Rodrigues will provide the voice of Liu Kang, Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter) as Sonya Blade, and Ike Amadi (Mortal Komba 11) will return as Jax Briggs.
