Director of Japan & Anime for Netflix, John Derderian:
“We’re excited to be working with such a fantastic group of animators and storytellers to produce our first original anime series set in Mexico. Our Mexican subscribers, and viewers in Latin America more broadly, have a tremendous passion for anime. We look forward to sharing this completely unique series with them, and with the growing community of anime fans around the world,”
Though I have never really been into anime, though I do like the film, Howl’s Moving Castle, lately my friends have been pushing me to give it a try. I think the plot of this show sounds interesting enough and might be a nice way to familiarize myself with the genre. Alvaro Rodriguez and Brad Graeber are co-writers on the project and it will be directed by Willis Bulliner.
