New Captain Carter Details For Marvel’s What If…?

Marvel always dominates when it comes to the big screen. DC fairs well on television and in animated features. The streaming of WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki add to Marvel’s small screen credentials. Another area they are advancing in is the animated features. The What If…? series of comics has always been completely intriguing. If you want a rundown of the series, check out LRM’s own Jay Bradshaw’s comic series synopsis in the related article. Marvel looks to get the What If… series started with a brand new captain in the form of Captain Carter.

While fans know that Peggy will be donning the role of Captain Carter, there are some new details regarding the episode. Peggy will obviously be taking the super serum turning her into Captain Carter. Steve has an injury that is keeping him out of action until he gets help from Howard Stark. The first Iron Man armor is created which is known as the “Hydra Stomper”. This will be Steve’s new way of helping Project Rebirth.

This sounds pretty awesome to me! Seeing Captain Carter and Steve fight side-by-side will be badass! Howard Stark creating the Mark 1 suit well before Tony is around is interesting as well. The episode should bring many more twists and surprises. The entire series looks to do the same, which is exciting for us fans!
