We’ve got a new unseen clip from The Mandalorian and Grogu, plus director Jon Favreau confirms he’s not in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Favreau appeared as a guest on The Jimmy Kimmel Show and we have the clip below. The interview’s first half is taken up by a discussion on food. Something both Favreau and Kimmell are passionate about.

However Favreau then starts on The Mandalorian and Grogu and shares an exclusive unseen clip of the film (shown in video below). You can catch it for yourself, but I found it a fun clip. Favreau also spoke a little about how much more the Grogu puppet can do this time due to movie level budgets (swimming used as an example). The director also talked a little about what Star Wars meant to him growing up. Oh, and getting Martin Scorsese to provide his voice for the film.

There was also some Marvel talks with Kimmel pointing out that Favreau, was the director who pushed for Robert Downey Jr. to get the role in Iron Man. Favreau spoke about how perfect RDJ was and how he was able to catch up with Downie and Kevin Feige at CinemaCon recently, as they were both promoting films there. Favreau admitted he was wrong when he warned the Russo’s about killing Tony Stark in Endgame, but he’s pleased he’s back as Doctor Doom.

Finally when asked about Spider-Man: Brand New Day Favreau had only one thing to add. He’s not in it, or if he is, they better contact him quick because it’s out this June. Though Happy Hogan appeared in each of the previous MCU based Spider-Man films, he pointed out that his character no longer remembers Peter Parker going into this film.
