The man whose name is synonymous with basketball, is getting a new documentary series. A new 10-episode documentary on NBA legend Michael Jordan (who is believed by many to be the greatest basketball player ever, Sorry Lebron) is coming from Netflix and ESPN films. The series, which will be called The Last Dance will chronicle the career of the NBA great and will use over 500 hours of previously unseen footage from the 1997-1998 championship season.

Directing the docuseries will be Jason Hehir, who is responsible for other features on sports such as The ’85 Bears and The Fab Five. A press release from both ESPN and Netflix says the series production,“Will have the full participation of Jordan and other key figures from the Bulls’ championship teams, as well as dozens of other luminaries from basketball and beyond.”

Michael Jordan was truly amazing, as he has demonstrated before, he could essentially just hog the ball and almost beat the opposing team by himself. Throughout his career, Michel Jordan won six NBA Championships, six MVP awards and as being a 14-time all-star, along with many other awards. Former teammates and opposing players are sure to weigh in with their thoughts on the legend. The series is set to air sometime next year.
