Stranger Things just released another new poster for the second season of Netflix’s most popular series. And it’s very Halloweeny. Check it out below!

Good old Chief Hopper (David Harbour), always on the case. Of course, one of the episodes of the new season is titled, ‘The Pumpkin Patch,’ and this poster was released on the first day of October, so it is all very fitting.

But, what has happened to those pumpkins? Are they actually some sort of egg disguised as the classic Halloween icon? Have they been feasted upon and smashed by some creature from the Upside Down? Or are their weird openings meant to mimic the mouth of the Demogorgon? Likely just some fun promotional artwork, but only time will tell what secrets or terrors Stranger Thing‘s pumpkin patch will actually hold.
