We are about two months away from the premiere of the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys. A few weeks ago Amazon Prime Video hosted a virtual event that brought together the actors and actresses of the Boys along with a clip of the first few minutes of the next season. Today we were treated with a new teaser trailer, which you can check out above. Also, they released a brand new teaser art that featured the wanted posters of the group that defies the Supes.

As you can see by the teaser trailer, this season is going to be just a bloody mess as the last (if not more). The Boys are on the run from Homelander, played by Anthony Starr and Vought. While the Seven do what they can to hunt down The Boys, they also do what they can to save face for the public eye. But even with superpowers, it won’t be that easy for Homelander as a new challenger arrives.

Stormfront, played by Aya Cash, has joined the Seven. She’s a social-media-savvy new Supe that has her own plans. Speaking of plans, did you catch Butcher’s, played by Karl Urban, plan to take down Vought? Well, all we know for now is that Hughie, played by Jack Quaid, is not happy about it as usual. It will be fun to see what Butcher has in store for the Supes.

After the wild first season, I think that this second season has the potential to be better than the first. I am looking forward to seeing the power struggle between Homelander and Stormfront. Also, I am very curious about how they are going to develop Homelander’s kid. Last but not least I wonder if they are going to get into Black Noir’s character anymore. I won’t spoil anything about that, but if you know, you know.
