Next Decade Of MCU Movies And Shows To Be Planned By Kevin Feige And Team Later This Week

Marvel boss Kevin Feige coy on X-Men questions, confirms no Star Wars movie and denied discussing returning fallen Avengers recently.

Kevin Feige and his team are headed to a retreat this week. Specifically to plan the next decade of MCU movies and shows out. Feige was opening up the Marvel side of yesterdays Disney presentation at CinemaCon. As covered by many in attendance Feige revealed the news to the crowds. Fiege and his ‘parliament’ are away to nail down what they want to do across the next decade.

Feige has said in the past that he and his team tend to work in 5 years periods. However he has also said previously that they still have ideas about what comes next up to 10 years in advance. I believe the last time something like this happened was a few years ago now. The fruits of those labors are the movies and shows we will see across the next year or two.

Given the roster of characters Marvel Studios now has access to, the future is limitless. We have a potentially new Spider-Man trilogy in conjunction with Sony Pictures. However we also have the likes of Fantastic Four and X-Men to come in and rejuvenate the MCU going forward. That of course is in addition to all the new characters we are seeing appear in the MCU across the already scheduled movies and shows.

In terms of team-up movies who knows when the next Avengers event movie happens? However we have rumors from the likes of Midnight Sons to Thunderbolts or Dark Avengers. Fans have a new Cap, potentially a new Thor, Ironheart replacing Iron Man, and a new Black Panther all to come around soon.

Whilst Fantastic Four is coming and will be directed by Jon Watts, there is still no word on where and when we might see the X-Men make their proper MCU debut? Ok, Professor X from another Universe is in Multiverse of Madness. However most fans hope, and guess, the X-Men will get their own rebooted version for the MCU now Disney holds all the movie rights.

Wouldn’t you just love to be able to tune in and watch them map out what comes next?

What are your hopes for the next decade of MCU movies and shows? What names do you hope get brought up as Kevin Feige and his team are headed to a retreat to brainstorm? Sound off below as always.
