For several years, Nomi Ruiz has a lot of success as a singer and performer.

In 2018, she made her acting debut in Mayans M.C. as Gracie for an episode. With that experience, she leaped into a leading actress role in the Muy Thai drama Haymaker, in which she plays a singer who hires a bodyguard.

The relationship leads him to make an unexpected return to fighting, risking not only his friendship but his life. Haymaker tells a story about human dignity and love.

Nomi Ruiz stars alongside Nick Sasso, who makes his directorial and screenwriting debut. Other cast members include John Ventimiglia (The Sopranos), Veronica Falcon (Queen of the South), Udo Kier (Brawl in Cell Block 99), Zoe Bell (Once Upon a Time In Hollywood), and D.B.
