One True Loves | Andy Fickman on Directing a Dramatic Love Triangle

Luke Bracey and Phillipa Soo in One True Loves

Real love is complicated, as demonstrated in One True Loves.

In a person’s lifetime, it is possible for people to have more than one destined lover.

From the New York Times best-selling novelist Taylor Jenkins Reid (also wrote Daisy Jones & the Six), Reid spins a tale about love lost, love found, love re-surfacing, and the difficult choices to be made with love.

The film stars Phillipa Soo (Hamilton), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi And The Legend of the Ten Rings), and Luke Bracy (Point Break). Andy Fickman helmed the film from the screenplay adaptation from Taylor Jenkins Reid and Alex Jenkins Reid.

Here is the full synopsis:

Emma and Jesse are living the perfect life together, until Jesse disappears in a tragic helicopter crash on their first wedding anniversary. Four years later, Emma has found happiness again and is about to marry her best friend when Jesse resurfaces, turning her world upside down and leaving her torn between two great loves.
